The waves were splashing, sun was shining and warm breeze of the South China Sea was blowing across our faces. Pulau Redang, known internationally as a blissful destination with turquoise sea water and white sandy beaches, is also where May and Sheldon chose to hold their wedding ceremony.
The couple planned a 3 days 2 nights’ itinerary for 30 family members and friends at the island, with the wish that their loved ones will not only be there to celebrate their union, but also to have a nice time to relax and unwind.
Witnessed by family members and close friends, May and Sheldon exchanged their vows under the wedding arch adorned with silky drapes that danced in tune with the breeze. It was undeniably a simple yet heart-warming and tender moment, felt across by everyone in presence.
As the evening sunset hues started to dominate the tropical skyline, the couple and their guests turned up at a romantically-lit dining hall, ready to continue the celebration. Long tables were decorated with pastel hydrangeas and soft candles, along with natural coastal elements such as seashells and dried corals.
“Such great memories! The sky, the sand and clear water were just the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Although mobilizing 30 family members and friends to Pulau Redang wasn’t an easy feat, Evan and her team managed to organize everything and gave us the peace of mind throughout the process. We were able to concentrate on celebrating and of course, the beautiful island.” – May reminisced fondly.

The preparation of May and Sheldon’s wedding was an interesting and unforgettable one. First of all, it was a privilege to be able to be a part of the celebration but also a nice challenge to manage the itinerary of all 30 guests that include organizing their flights and coaches to ensure all of them will have a wonderful experience. We were glad all came through and the couple and their guests were able to have a great time.
